S.W. OHIO...WHERE TO RIDE? Hamilton area
#1
Any local folks on here?
I am in s.w. ohio near Hamilton (north of cinci)
the neighboring property i ride on just got a new owner and he is against ATV riding...dare i say tree-hugger hippie type. but whatever, its his land so....now i am looking for a new place to ride occassionally. I have 2 boys and me and my GF riding. Wouldn't get out often as time is a valuable commodity these days. Looking for more trail riding than track riding....Anybody have a place in mind?
I know about sinking springs but its 2 hours away from me....
Hasopin is another option i am aware of...looking for something a lil more low profile as Haspin can get preety high speed and crazy at times with trucks, dirtbikes, quads, and every other conceivable off road type vehicle...not really kid safe/friendly IMHO

You might consider Wayne National Forest in Nelsonville, OH. I have ridden at Pike in Sinking Springs, and while it is nice, they do not have a lot of trails. WNF has about 75 miles of trails, can camp at the trailheads or right on the trails, etc. We ride there around 10 times a season. You might also consider Big Rock in northern KY. I have never ridden there, but might be something to check out that is a shorter drive. I am from Springfield, OH and WNF is about a 2 hour drive from here. It sucks to have to make that drive everytime to ride, but when that is your only option, that is what you do. Shoot me a PM if you want to meet up and ride Wayne sometime. We would be more than willing to show you around. We will be there opening weekend! We typically ride with a group of 3 (dad, brother, and myself) and sometimes meet up with guys out of Columbus.
