October Mountain State Forest

Looks like it opens to ATVs on May 1st...

Anybody interested ?

I'd like to hit it hard and see as much of the place as I can in 1 day.

Your a little early but im in, i'll get a hold of this guy whos been riding there for years,he knows all the trails and we can easily do 40 miles of all terrains,just sucks we gotta wait 2 months.

Should be easy to follow now that you're subscribed to this thread Sal.

I'm thinking Sunday, May 1st if they are actually open to ATVs that day.

I'll call when it's getting close.

Great hope you guys aren't going to mind riding with a 2 wheel drive.

Hey Troy, Is the terrain up there suitable for 2WD machines ?

I rode with some up there,they do pretty good as long as you know how to ride we had to winch one out now and then but shoot,we do that with the 4x4s,, its rocky in some areas hence(Rocktober Mt) but its fun, i gotta renew my reg in MA soon.

hey the guy who likes to be the trail guide is in his 50's and he drives even faster than we do but he doesn't mind driving slow for the slower guys,hes cool
