Default Pine Barrens?

I'm sure this has been asked hundreds of times but I am wondering :P I live in North Jersey and always wanted to ride in the Barrens. Are you even allowed to ride down there? Please give me some info because I'm dying to go

Thanks everyone =]

Unfortunately there are no legal places to ride in NJ. People still ride in the Pine Barrens but it`s ride at your own risk.

I loved (past) riding in the pines but here that the Rangers will get you, they never used to but now they are after the ATV's but the trucks/jeeps can still drive in the pines and rip it up but not the smaller ATV's

I'm sure if you register and insure your ATV things would go a little more smoother if you got caught riding in the barrens. For one you can't get a ticket for an unregistered and uninsured vehicle and legally be towed by the police. But you still could face tresspassing fines. NJ atv insurance is only $16 a year, and full coverage insurance is $125 which includes theft of up to $35k of additional add on after market parts you put on your atv.

Being registered and insure still doesn't give you the right to ride in the barrens though, but like I said it could really save your *** if you got caught.
