Default Southern West Virginia

Made another trek down to The Hatfield and McCoy trail system. We rode pinnacle creek, indian ridge and the outlaw trails. Big difference going in April as opposed to October. All the mudholes and water crossings were deep...real deep Was definitely the best trip I have been on. Tons of laughter, carnage and learning experiences.

We stayed down at Riders Paradise (on the outlaw trails) and the owner Jerry took real good care of us. It's smack dab in the middle of all the trail systems in that area.

I wound up picking a wrong crossing and sank my 450 Got her running in about 5 minutes and she is fine (no water in the engine) Most of our time was spent on the outlaw trails. We rode through indian ridge from Tiny's to go to the ashland resort to grab something but all the fun riding was on the outlaws. Here are a few videos from the trip. Some of them have a bit of cursing and the best of video has bonus footage from when I drowned the 450 so that bonus footage has a lot of F Bombs. If you like you can watch the best of video and when the music ends around 5:20 just stop watching if you are offended by obscene language. Most of the videos may have 1 or 2 curse words in them so they are definitely not safe for work and should be viewed at your discretion. Hope you guys enjoy them.

Consider all videos NSFW!!!

Luck....

Both times we got her on her tail quick and drained out any water. Pulled the plug, turned off the fuel and cranked her over to be sure no water was coming out. I always bring tools and extra parts, spare oiled air filter etc. so it was easy to do. Biggest thing to remember is to not try and start it with all the water in the pipe or airbox. Once I got home I drained the oil and it wasn't really milky but definitely looked like it had been in for 1000 miles even though it was changed just prior to the trip. Flushed it a few times and she seems good to go for now.
