I'm looking for a new place for a day trip...Newport to Dover is getting boring. I've heard there is a decent trail system from Waterville to Skowhegan but I can't find much information about it. One of the maps I found shows a drop off point in the Walmart parking lot at Waterville Commons...but I have never seen anyone drop there...then again I've never really looked for atv drop point there. Can anybody tell me about these trails? Are they converted rail beds or rough trails? Where can I park and drop off? How long is the trail system?
