Anybody know of a place to do a little riding around Livonia area, There has to be some where to ride out in Walled Lake or Wixon But where? Im used to riding Up north, but cant go that far all the time. Thanks

 

I am a member of the CCC.With my membership,I receive a yearly booklet of EVERY LEGAL trailhead in our State.The closest place near you would be the Mounds located in Mt Morris Mich near Flint Mi.

Currently,until May 15th,the Mounds will only open 10 acres of the 200 acres up for riding,its not even worth the trip.

Try the Maumee State Forest in Delta, Ohio. Just make sure you have a MI ORV sticker.

 

you could check out the mounds, its OK. or you could check out the hot spot I've just found, it has been around for a couple of years. its located at baldwin and I75. its west of 75 on the north side. full blown moto cross track. from the people I've talked to at the track, they say the owner lets people ride there no problem. I've seen the cops pass a couple of times now and never pulled in to say anything.

DK, Bill's right. I hate to say that! But you and I have a long ride to any trailhead in Michigan. If you go to Ohio, to ride, you may as well go to The Mounds. It's still closer than Maumee, OH. Of course there's not much to ride at The Mounds until May 15th, so you may want to look into Ohio as suggested. The next closest place to ride in Michigan, is three hours away. Wayne County, may soon be opening a trail for us. Not definite yet but keep your fingers crossed.
