Default Lifters

Gotta tune my motor I hear the lifters rattling I'm gonna try to do it myself does any one know the right feeler gage size actually I could use some advice 250cc fourstroke

Several videos on youtube that can help. Just guessing you have a Chinese machine most set at .003 intake and .004 exhaust. Engine has to be at tdc and the easiest way to do this without worrying about "strokes" is just remove the small cover to get to the flywheel nut.Pull the spark plug,rotate the engine over and look at the intake rocker arm only. When it goes down and starts to come back up,look for the TDC mark on the flywheel or the marks on the cam sprocket that align with the cylinder head(which ever model you have). Then you can check/adjust valves. This video gives you an idea on how to adjust.
