nemadji state forest

I just got a map of the state forest, can anyone tell me if there are more trails than what it shows on map, doesnt look like a real long system.

Yes there are more trails. The beauty of Nemadji is that the forest is full of trails but they all connect to something.....you are not just riding in circles. East of of Nemadji Potlatch lumber company has thousands of acres and they are all open to the public. You can also take the Gandy Dancer trail Southeast to St. Croix state forest and they have some good riding too. You can easily make a full weekend out of riding Nemadji.

There are enough trails in nemadji to keep you going for days. Last year at this time there was so much mud that we thought we'd never get out. Some of the trails on the north end are pretty nice, and probable not too muddy. If you head down the Munger trail you should find tons of mud.
