We are planning on going back to Wayne next weekend and are looking for a nice place to camp. Bringing wives and young children so we need a place with nice facilities and other recreation to amuse them while we ride. Burr Oak State Park looks good but wondered if anyone had ever been there so I could get a better idea of what it was like. Thanks for any help, BK

I have never stayed at Burr Oak, but generally the Ohio state park campgrounds are pretty nice. Check out the Ohio web page and navigate to the state parks. There is generally quite a bit of information in there about the camping facilities. Hope this helps.

Hey BK-- I haven't stayed at B.Oak for many years, so can.t tell you about it. I can tell you that, If I were to want a NICE camp, I would check out the HOCKING HILLS area. Old Man's Cave, Ash Cave Rock House areas.
I'll be at Williams' camp ground, with RubiconBob this w.e. It is primitive. No h2o, no electric. They DO have showers(I assume they are functional!). Look for us, If you get over this way. Trailhead runs DIRECTLY into the camp!
Bob has red 2k(?) Rubicon/ I have red 2k Foreman-S/ Cheryl has a polaris Trailboss(mostly white)
Hope to meet you there!!!!!! Mike.
