I just moved to Charlton, MA and am looking for some areas to ride. Anyone know of any places or have a lot of land and want to ride?

About 12 yr's ago we used to have a place to ride just out side of Auburn . It has been a long time since I have been there we used to have to trailer it there off of Route 20. If you new the back trails in (which we did) you could get in the back way. It was awsome riding. Had a lot of good memories in there. Is that area stil there? It was a big gravel pit with some sand areas

We all call it Fox run and the pit is callled scavones pit. Now it is a rock crushing plant. it is actually in oxford you are rtight about all the other trails around there but they are building a new high school and that has takin alot of it away. I have been meaning to get out there on my mountain bike to see what is left but just havent gotten that far. Were you from the area?

Hey Guys,
I grew up in charlton and now reside on the Worcester/Holden line. I know some good spots in the area. I have a 2001 rancher and 2001 recon. Let me know if you are interested.

Hennyhog - I am definately interested! I have a 2000 Yamaha Bear Tracker and the 2001 Recon. I haven't found too many places around here - in fact the only place I have ridden is the place that Grog and Trail Warrior are talking about.

Thanks - mudnog2

Heh Guys & Gals
Sorry but I will not be able to make that ride Sunday morning , as much as I would love to ride my old stomping grounds. I am a 11hr drive from Worcester Ma. How ever some of us out here in Warren, Ohio will be doing our own ride Sunday morning.
Yes I am from that area I was raised in Millbury, Mass. Kinda hung out in Worc. a lot, & did all my riding in Oxford & Sutton, Ma. Yes there used to be a set of powerlines that took you from Oxford to a hugh gravel pit on the other side of Route 46 in Sutton. It was an all day ride. I am slittly older than youns (I am 43). I left Mass about 12 yr's ago and have only been back once since then.
I am very involved with ATV's, I try to ride once a wk. I am also an ATV Instructor with the ATV Safety Institute, ( have you all take your safety class) I am also involved with an ATV Club here in Ohio. We are called the Northeast Trailriders Inc. ( WEB Address is )
www.northeasttrailriders.com Out here in Ohio we have some decent areas to ride, My favorite is called Wayne National Forest (check out forums WNF)or www.fs.fed.us/r9/wayne
Going to go for now have a good ride and if any of you want you can get me at Trailwarrior@earthlink.net
See ya TTFN
