Rode in this event twice this year and will be there again on Sunday. This is probably the best poker run I have participated in, and I have done about 7 of them. The last ride they had in August was about 23 miles long and the trail was changed a bit from the previous ride. The terrain is almost all woods trail riding (my favorite kind of riding) with a limited amount of open field riding. They have one really long mudhole/pit area that is very challenging. There is plenty of parking with ample room to load/unload at the adjacent Dog Hollow Speedway lot. They have food and drink available on site. I believe they have a little over 400 riders. The nice thing is you never feel crowded or have to wait like at Cochranton. You are permitted to do the loop more than once. Motorcycles are permitted. This event is great! Hope this helped. If you have any additional questions, just ask!

Posted some info in previous threads - take a look!

Thanks for the info. I'll be headed down Sunday. Any idea of trail conditions (mud, dust, dry, etc...) for this time of year there? I can't decide which quad (4x4 or 2x4) I should take.

Since most of the trail is in the woods, the dust should be at a minimum. The August ride was dusty in places but not too bad. We got some rain this past Thursday & Friday. The weather this weekend is supposed to be sunny and mid 60's so I would expect the dust to be minimal. The mud holes should be decent with the recent rain. Cant answer your 2WD/4WD question - I have a 2WD and manage pretty good through the mud holes. I have a Yamaha Bear Tracker and will be riding with another BearTracker, Wolverine and Big Bear. If you see us on the side of the trail having a refreshment/beer, stop and say hello!
