Has anyone ridden at land between the lakes?? Is it good. What kind of riding is it? With over 2500 acres to ride on, there has to be something good there. We are going over thanksgiving weekend. Hope to have a blast.

thanks

WOW,it's been 15 years since I have been there.I'm sure the rocks are no smaller now than thet were then,lots of rocks.I was riding a TRI-Z 250 with flat tracks on it, so you will do fine.Hills in the woods best describes it.A lot of fun,have a good time.

I was there this spring. Like 3forme said "I'm sure the rocks are no smaller".There are all kinds of trail from slow technical to fast and furious. A couple of the trails have some good jumps also.. Beware of the rail buggies though. The trails are just wide enough for them.

Does the state maintain the trails or is it all torn up with big bog mud holes.
I would like to take the wife down there sometime but she wouldn't go through big mud holes. Is their some nice easy trails?

The trails at LBL are maintained pretty good but like I said in my previous post the trails are rocky. This makes it rough on your aluminum rims. I took my 300 Prairie and came home with some nice dings in my steel rims just to give you some idea. Also you should now we were doing some fast trail riding and them ole rocks came up on you so fast it was hard to manuver (sp??) around them. There are many trails to choose from and anything that my exceed your wifes riding level usually has an alternative trail. There are some areas that the trails are rutted and there are some mud bogs but it is something you can go around. Should be some nice scenery up there now with all the leaves off the trees. to see some of the pics from LBL here is my web page to browse over.

Hope this helps,

Hey hink;

I wrote a big reply on LBL to you, but it didn't go through, so to some up..you will love it, it is rocky the closer you get to the lake and there are a couple of loops to ride that are about 8 miles. Once you get used to that just go get lost in the 2600 acres and have fun. I am going to be there thursday through sat and will be in the first turn off to the left which is by the portolets and the trash bins. Me and my family will be there, I will keep an eye for a ATC250R and a polaris riding together.
I will be on a 400ex with blue rims #747.

Have fun and yes they do have a trail map of the main trails.

Nick
