A small group of us are planning to go to St. Anthony's, Idaho, in July. It is about 1100 miles one way. I was wanting to get the most info on this place that i could, camping areas, fees, rules, or anything else that might be important? Is there a lot of people and what is the weather ussually like there?
Thanks

In July the weather will be wonderful. You can either camp at the Sand Hills Resort (fee based) or the Egin Lakes camp area (No fees at this time). Sand Hills Resort has grass and water but is a long ways from the big dunes. Egin Lakes has no facilities but is by all the action.

St. A's is good in July. Most out of towners stay in Rexburg and drive the 10 miles to ride each day. If you are coming close to the 4th then it will be packed, especially at Egin Lakes. There is another resort, but they charge...and get filled up pretty quick. Egin lakes is your best bet if you are camping, and don't mind people riding around drunk all night! If you are going to camp then get all your food, supplies, etc in Rexburg because there is next to nothing in St. Anthony. There is a couple gas stations and one grocery store, and some restraunts but thats it. Other than that get ready for the best dunes in the world!!

Trent,

When in July do you plan to go? We are going July 4th and can show you around if you're there. It's a big place and the bigger dunes are very challenging.
