Hey guys, i just got my first sport quad and i am ready to ride. I have rode a 97 fourtrax for a few years. Back to the point, I am looking for some good trails to ride. I like steep hills and and lots of woods. I live in Washington, southern IN. Anyone know of some good trails around here. I would really appreciate anyones input. Thnks, briggz

I tend to like the steep hills and trails also. You gotta love flying up a huge steep hill when you don't even know if you can make it until you do. That's fun. There's always the public places to ride but the secluded, more private type areas are always best. I wish I knew of some to tell you about. You'd think as wooded and rolling as it is in southern Indiana there'd be alot of trails.
Good luck.

I haven't been there but there's two places in KY not to far over the line that I hear are very good.Big rock and mountain parkway, both are 2,000+ acre parks.Where going to check them out after we get back from little sahara Okl. at the end of the month.

I used to live south of Petersburg, not far from where you are. There were 1000's of acres of reclaimed strip mine land that we could ride on. I'm pretty sure it is still open. There were a lot of riders that went down around the Patoka river a little south of there. If you could hook up with someone that lived around there you could probably find lots of FREE places to ride. There was also a place between Linton and Dugger that was old strip mine land. Lots of people rode it and it had all the hills you could ever want. In fact, it had some nasty hills that were un-natural, with sharp tops that were old piles of slag and such. The last I heard it was still open. It was southwest of Linton about 3 or 4 miles. I met some guys down around French Lick that said there were trails around there to ride but I never got the chance to find them.
