Hi,
I am from CT and just bought my first 2 atv's for my son and I. We are not going to register in CT because it does not seem worth it. We go to Maine alot, so could someone please let me know how I go about registering in Maine. Is there a # you can give me or a website?

Also, I think we will be traveling to NY and Mass as well - do we have to register in all of the states? If so any help there would also be appreciated.

I know N.Y. you need to be registered, I don't know about Maine. Where in N.Y. do you ride?

 

Each state requires their own registration. My bike is registered in NY, CT and MA. Kind of sucks but its worth the $ to have somewhere to ride.

thanks for the help, but I have another question - why bother with registering in CT?
I am in the process of registering in NY and Maine, but thought that in CT it is illegal, so why register ?

About reg. in maine.....call the fish and game dept in augusta..sorry dont have there number handy......u may need a maine adress to do it.....If ur reg. in Maine..Its good for NH and NB,Canada...I'm afraid that mass won't honar....sory about the spelling....a maine reg....and trying to reg. a machine in mass is a hassel,so they tell me...here its a mail thing.....or do it in person at the local town office..I belive it 17 bucks a year...per machine....if u need more info e-maile me and I'll see what i can do ATVGUY350@aol.com....ride safe
