Anybody have some good riding spots in central WI (besides BRF). I am looking for good trails / tracks / sand pits & ect. The trails in Black River open May 15, and I am heading up for opening day. Thanks

you could try any of the trails in langlade county or forest county, ridden on both counties and they are great!!! i would prefer the langlade county augustyne springs trail if you are just going out for an hour or so scenic ride, but it is only a 15 mile course, i think. i am going to the augustyne springs trail this weekend, maybe we could meet up.

Don't overlook northern Wisconsin, the trails up there are great,my son and I drive from central Minnesota every year to camp near Iron River, beautiful scenery, well marked trails, miles of every kind of terrain,it is worth every mile of driving there. We also plan on exploring Hurley and other areas this year to see what else is available,I have heard a lot of good things about that area. You're lucky, you live in a great ATV trail state, lately in MN,the DNR has been wimpering in a corner, whipped by the tree ***** into closing most of our state trails for "environmental damage studies",and now telling us for the first time since I can remember,it is 'too wet' to ride any of them until further notice. Sorry about the little tirade there,it burns me up whenever I think about it. Any way, look north, you won't be dissapointed. Ride safe, and have fun !!
