I live in North central Florida. I have went to the dunes at Glamis, Little Sahara Ok, & Dumont, Michigan. I have heard of dunes in Alabama & would like more info. Directions would be nice. I would be coming up I75.

 

ernie,I have lived in central Al.for 33 years and am not not familiar with any "dunes".....if there are I would like to find out where myself!

 

ernie, i live in the southeastern tip of alabama (dothan), i don't know of any dunes in alabama but i put a post here a while back about some dunes in georgia about an hour and a half away from me...the exact location is albany, georgia....it called the sand borrow pit...it's pretty cool b/c they dig out of it and put more sand in during the week so it's always changing...we usually go every two weeks
