How about a group ride at Mill Creek, Central Illinois?
#1
From what I have learned there is a fairly nice riding area in east central Illinois. It is a state sponsored riding area Link
Mill Creek is on the Lincolin Trail, between Terre Haute and Charleston, near Clarksville. You need a Illinois sticker ($11.00) and $6.00 to ride for the day.
Casey is near also if you wanted to hit that area as well.
Would any of you guys and ladies like to do a ride there? I was thinking about July 20 to give everyone enough notice to plan.

I might be able to make it then, whats this about an Illinois sticker, I've had my 4-wheeler for a couple years now, bought it in Illinois, and live in Illinos, and i havent ever heard anything about this sticker. Whats it do, and where do I get one??

The sticker is available at the gatehouse by the bridge over the north end of the lake. That is where the boat ramp is and the main entrance for the park.
From what I understand, to ride on any of the state funded riding areas (see link) you need one. $11.00 is good for a year that runs April to March.
I plan to go over before and check things out. I'll advise.

I was at Mill Creek for a while on Sunday (6/9). I had a good time. There were several groups there and I tagged along with a group of ATV'ers from Indiana for a while. They claim there is 15 miles of trails winding along the west side of the lake. There is no map. Trails are marked with green, yellow and red arrows indicating easy, intermediate, and advanced. On the advanced trails the trails were a bit tighter, but there were areas where you could go to climb and decend into ravines and creek bottoms.
There is parking and picknick areas there. I did not see (didn't look either) a spigot for water.
