Anyone going to LA Dunes Labor Day weekend? I'll be there on Saturday and Sunday with a bunch of friends. I'll be riding an 86 TRX250R (see description in my signature)

 

hey kajun, i should be there. we are leaving friday night and staying till monday, i think. i will have my ds, one friend will have his banshee, and another will have his honda 400ex there. 2 of them. look out for those 400's . they will surprise you[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

If I get everything together I will be there sunday. Just look for the guy falling asleep pulling a 12hour shift sat. night (till 6am)coming home loading up and heading out. P.S. I will be the skinny guy on the polaris 400 maybe we can some runs in.

 

I'll keep a look out for y'all. I know what you mean about those 400ex's Bomb. I have seen some VERY fast 400's up there.

Kajun are you an older, 50ish, man? If so I think I have seen you out there. Very fast bike.

 

Any of you have any web addresses for the forrest hill area. Weather it's the dunes, park or camp claiborne.

I have to work this week end (work offshore) But we were thinking of making a trip next week end or three weeks from now. Like to see about facillities and possibly motels.

 

Alexandria is going to be the best bet for a Hotel. Its about 25-30 minutes away. There are a few closer, but kinda small and I can't remember any names.

 

badassbomb, is your DS on NOS? I saw one out there and was wondering.
KajunATVer, I think i saw your R. Is it all red? They had a lot of nice R's there this weekend. I wish i could have stayed all weekend but my friends banshee never left the trailer(brand new motor wouldnt run at all, just spit fire out of his pipes. You may have seen us draggin him around the campsite with my recon) so I had to leave early. Oh well i got some great pics and cant wait to go back.

 

How did it go this weekend. Didn't get to go, because i was in atlanta texas doing my other favorite thing cruising on my boat. Was there a large turn out. I should be heading to the dunes two weekends from today. Anyone for it.
