Went out this week riding on the river banks and found about 5 miles of good sand. There are some nice small dunes (12ft high) for jumping and lots of room for sand drags. Anyone close to the missouri boot heel let me know if ya want to ride it and ill give ya directions.

The River Dunes sound pretty good. So how could I get there from Jacksonville Arkansas. The place I was riding the river dunes got closed off to the public by the land owners. An that is just the kind of place I'm looking to ride.

They are in Northeast Arkansas, You need to make it to blytheville, then there are several backroads to make it there. Only problem is you must go when the Mississippi River is down. Or there wont be any sand bars. But once the water drops then there are miles of sand.. and fun fun fun.
for the moment I have no quad.I getting another dirtbike..

Once you get blytheville. How do you get to the dunes. I know you said to take back roads, which ones?

Ill have to make a detailed post, its really one of those I have to take you to em.. If you are not familiar with the place then you will never find the entrance to it. The road that goes to the riverbank gets plowed up every year,(farmers) If you dont know where to turn then you never find the sandbars.. When are you wanting to come up.. guess I should tell you when you need to. well the river is up right now, so there is no sand.. I should go down sometime this spring..

By then Ill be living in West TN,, Im moving in the next 2 weeks.
