Broken Bow is a nice place to ride, but if you ever get tired of it and you want to add a little spice to life. You should try Cavanal mountain in Eastern Oklahoma. I read in one of the Jeep 4x4 mags a year ago they ran a little pole on what is the toughest trail to Jeep on and the North side of the Mountain won it hands down.
But I'm hear to tell ya this thing is double bull dog bad, and I'm not blowing sunshine up your dress when I say this. I've seen many a quad roll back down this thing on any given day. Oh, and also a winch is a must if you plan to traverse it also.
So in closing if any of you Texas boys want to take a ride on the wild side check this mountain out. All of us locals will be glad to say "Welcome To The Show"

I rode in the Rattan/Cloudy (Oklahoma) area Sept 27-28. WE had some great rides. Nothing reallly hairy or technical but got into some back country fishign holes that really looked promising (emphasis on LOOKED). WE had a great time. Just take the road to "Ozzie Cobb" lake north out of Rattan head towards a ghost town called "Cloudy" and the road will eventually turn to gravel. There are several turn offs that will lead you to some great riding. Beware though you can get lost very easily. And, you also have to have a "Land use permit" which can be puchased anywhere that sells hunting/fishing licenses.
