I've been in that area a couple of times when going over Cottonwood pass and on through to Gunnison. It's a pretty nice area. As far as using your ATV you may have to use it along the road up to Cottonwood Pass. I suggest you might check into buying a Colorado Gazetteer Book, they run about $20 but it shows nearly every trail in the state. It breaks down into little sections of the state. You can probably get a topographic map of the area at Barnes & Noble bookstore.

Thanks
We spent some time there camping without quads,,,,,and just wondered the extent of the trail system.

There is a jeep trail that goes to Aspen from there. 26 miles (39 from the Reservoir)
