trying to find information on the dunes in colorado. how far from denver? is there hotels in the area? any kind of atv service/parts store any where in the area? is it organized at all? or is it just you and nature? is it trail riding or wide open riding? any information would be appreciated...

 

Denver,
About 180 miles from Denver. 3 - 3 1/2 hours away. There are some motels in Walden, about 30 minutes away, and in Laramie, about an hour away. same info for service / parts. limited in Walden, a little better in Laramie. Not really organized to much. There are open dunes to ride plus trails into and out of the back side of the dunes thru the trees. Also some nice 4wd roads to the north of the dunes.

 

Within the next four to six months, I'ma be re-locating permanently to the Matheson, Colorado area. Bout 50 or so miles east and north of Colorado Springs. Can anybody tell me anythin bout the area?

 

hey denver...where u been...

walden has some hotels in town. 20min drive from the dunes to town....no stores..pretty small town!.. u and nature for the most part, they have 2 bathrooms other then that ur on ur own. miles of trail right next to the dunes and a nice place to rip up the dunes, a few good hills and a bunch of smaller ones to play on!

when r we going riding man?? i have been at IMI 3 weeks in a row???
