Florida 4x4 ride area and ideas
#1
Our group is called "The Trailblazers and Hellraisers"
(only because "the douchbags and idiots" was already taken)
We ride at least twice a month and are always willing to swap a few good ride locations.
I personally prefer deep woods, and fast trail riding, but the group as a whole have many likes.
Our experience with trails is mainly limited to Central and SouthWest/Southeast Fla
but have also done the Croom thing on several occasions.
Our group owns land in River Ranch (near YeeHaw Junction) and we would welcome
visitors when we go. The ride conditions vary from soft sand to deep water and mud, depending on the weather and time of year. The access point has a gated entry, and only registed guests and owners permitted, and they charge for guests, but most can sneek by if properly instructed. I would consider it a good ride are, but not great.
A great ride area is near Fort Myers (North)
Here we find little regulations, and the trails go forever. I have personally clocked over 100 miles in a weekend on the trail. Many, Many times. Yep, 100+ trail miles in one weekend will really test you, your bike and your stamina.
We rough camp in a little spot far from civilazition, but close to the ride area.
Two wheelers, three wheelers and quads, plus jeeps, buggies and trucks all fit in here.
All skill levels, too.
No admission, no permits, no worry.
We will most definitely be planning a ride there in March or April.
ALL ARE INVITED. There is room at our camp for 50 - 75 people or more - the last
major ride there consisted of 25 riders and their campers, tents and RVs. Plenty of room
Prepration is necessary, so let us know if you wanna attend, I'll start the process and
keep the group informed.

and I'll see ya on the trail, and in my rear view mirror!

Anyone have a phone number for River Ranch? We're interested in getting some property there.
That said, my wife and I live in Broward County. We just got ATVs about a month ago. We're trying to sell the house and get up into Palm Beach. Likely The Acreage where my brothers live. We're looking for good places to ride and people to ride with.
We're old farts (as ATVs go), in our mid 40's, but don't mind "kids". LOL
Feel free to e-mail or call.

Hey Mr. Mudder,
You sure sound like a swell group of riders from what you had wrote.
I sure am interested in joining your club. Only problem is, I don't think I can
keep up. You see I am used to riding a slow Yellow 3 wheeler and people always
poked fun at me and called me names like "Bumble Bee".
I now have a major complex! Let me know if we can get beyond this.
Guess who!

You guys are bringing back some childhood memories of riding ATC's in Loxahatchee (West Palm), Plantation Acres and across the street from the Sunrise Musical Theater. I'm 29 now so this is going back about 16 or 17 years ago. Most of these places I'm sure are all paved with strip malls and house's by now. These riding spots may be gone but it seems that ATV riding in South Florida is still alive and well and you guys are having fun and that what it's all about.

I live in Loxahatchee, and have for 10 years, before i lived in Royal Palm since i was born. I'v seen this area grow by leaps and bounds. Realestate is through the roof, our property value Quadroopled(i know i spelled that wrong) in 8 years and it keeps going up. Also i'll join you in river ranch MUDDER. I have a 83' 200x that thing is hard to kill. Its for sale also.
