I am headed to florida in February and would like to ride a few spots. I have been to Croom, they was building a track last tike I was there. Is this done, have they opened any more ridding there ? I heard there was a spot north a bit from croom?? I'm staying on 27 just south of Clermont.

 

Croom is the same as it's been for a few years now, except for some resticted riding on the main road in the north area. There is a new motorcycle track to the west of Croom, but it's not owned by them. It's owned by a guy (I forget his name) that owns another motorcycle track in the area. As far as I know, no ATVs are allowed on the track. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] I don't know of any other riding area north from Croom except the Ocala National Forest. I've heard there are excellent riding areas up there. It's about two hours north of Croom.

 

we went to ocala nat. forest last weekend....
it was cold as hell .........
but worth it.

some kid on a raptor flew over a burm and fliped..............
they had to send the helicopter in to get him.

poor kid.

 

National forest, That sounds familiar, there was someone telling me about it last time I was down. Do you know where it is ?? Thanks.
