Does anybody here ride in Illinois - mainly the Joliet area ?

 

I live in southern Illinois, around the Du Quoin area. Are there any decent places up there to ride. There are a few down here but always looking for more.

02LE, where do you ride at around DuQuoin? I am a few miles south of Cape Girardeau, and me and some friends from just east of the river have been trying to find some good places over there to ride. Any suggestions?

 

Be back in the Pontiac/Dwight area in May when i graduate from College.

 

There is a couple of decent places, Coyote Trails in Coulterville it's not to bad has pretty good trails and also has an mx track and a small flat track; Little Egypt OHV it's just east of Marion, pretty good place also, they race hare scrambles, some of the trails can get pretty tight. I think there is also a place around Harrisburg. If you live close to Cape, have you ever been to St. Joe's, we go there quite often.

In ottawa il. there is two places,fox vally off road and 3caves,both places are great.Need more info let me know.

 

I live in the southeastern corner and ride in Indiana most of the time but would like to check out some of the IL locations but need to know the regulations on age size requirements because my son is 10 and rides a 125.And need to know the cost of riding and of the state permits.Anyone want to get together PM me in here.We go to Spurgen IN and ride there but you have to have a Indiana permit but they are only $6 for a 3 yr permit.Ther eis over 5000 acers to ride and at no fee as of yet.Beast thing is that it is only 45 miles for the state line at I64. Like I said I am always ready to find new folks to ride with. Brad

Most places are $10, IL OHV permits are I believe $11 which expire March 31?? I'm going to wait till after that to get mine(will be good for a year). atvdad36, you have to have a state permit to ride at Fox Valley O.R. don't you, I think I've been there but never rode there.

I go to fox valley all the time,Ive naver needed a state permit.Ive been going since it opened two or three years ago.Check out the website( megacross.com)then click on foxvalley off road.The charge is $20.00 at foxvalley ,at 3caves it is $15.00.No three wheelers allowed at both places.

I have a 10 year old and he rides a 90 atv there has know problom, Its up to the owner, if he thinks hes to small for the machine he will let you.
