Nemadji - MN Opener April 5 or 6th?

Depends on conditions -
In 2001 there was about a foot of snow on the high trails and up to a couple of feet of mud in the low areas. Lots of water. The deep mud was avoidable for those with ****-rententive clean quad tendencies. There were some hills, but the technical difficulty was more of a path choice rather then requirement. At the 2002 ride there was less mud and less snow and little water on the trails. It was a little slower paced then the 2k1ride. Maybe something was learned??? There has been some discussion amoungst the people in my ride tribe talking about slowing things down and bringing the wimmin and kids. They (we) might not be able to keep up with the young and the stupid, but it should be a good time for all who attend.

WhoDat,
after our first ride in '01, I felt that it would be better if we stuck together as a group. First reason being, there was some new riders last year that appeared to be first timers. I wasn't about to let someone get stranded out there. Heck, I even came back to look for MudStud after he buried his SP.
Hopefully I will have 2 others coming along.

well, if all else fails, I'm game for Red Top. I know many find this trail boring, but it's better than anything around me for trails. There are a few good pits within a respectable drive, but you can only go in circles so many times before it gets boring. I would guess that Nemadji will still open for ATV's on the first. The trail conditions/closures could be pertaining to the sleds.
Any ideas!!!!

The Danbury run is pretty decent. Is anybody interested in going sunday. I really cant take saturday off but i would be willing to go up to namaji or danbury on sunday. Hey mudstud you up to a long 2 day run later this spring. I want to check out the north shore area and would love to get a ride together with a bunch of folks for a overnighter campout kinda thing. Let me know about the 6th for the sunday ride if anybody is interested. The thing I hate worse about my job is the Sturdays. Everybody does stuff on Saturdays. However the up side is in the Summer theres no one on the lake on a Wednesday. Talk to you all later!

We might be available on Sunday. I'm looking for a less aggressive ride that I could take the wife and 3 teenage girls along. I'm about 90% recovered from the Christmas weekend crash and looking to ease back into it. We picked up a Honda Recon today so we will have 4 units if we put this together.
Anyone else out there looking for a family ride opening weekend?

They are more then welcome to come but with a new Baja 650 a newly built up DS 650, 500 Quadzilla and a crazy guy on a superglued scrambler that it will be much for the family.
I think in my mind it's an outing with the boys & toys.. I expect it to be like last year but more fun
