I was at their site and it didn't say closed. Just Fri-Sun open. A guy at work went this weekend with his Jeep. I'll check with him Monday to see what was up. Someone from that area will probably post by then.

 

Well this blows.. I just went to the BRF site and Ya, black river falls is closed until May 15!!!!
I will check with Burnet and Douglas countys to see if they are open.... I hope so!!!
Those are the wisconsin side of Nemadji.. Its the Danbury, superior and such..

Next question.. How far are people wiling to Drive?? I have April 5 open to ride So I WILL drive to ride....

Red Top is closed until May 15th, unless of course it's too wet for the "TREE HUGGIN' YUPPIE HUMPIN', POT SMOKIN' FREAKS" crying to the state about how much damage we are doing to a designated riding area again.

As far as the Gilbert area. I wouldn't be too fond of going there with the "Red Clay" that doesn't come off. I like my black and orange Baja just the way it is.

 

Well, Bauer pits is 1 option and the other is gordon... I kinda would like to goto gordon just cuz its different. but bouer is MUCH closer for everyone....
I will go any where I guess. I really wanted a trail ride but I will settle for the pits I guess.

is the trail head for the Blue Ox in Blackduck? What is the terrain like? Is it mostly swamp land along the trail, or is it heavily wooded/forest type terrain?

 

personally I think you'd hate it. Never been there, but from the pics I've seen, your machine will be covered with RED dirt/clay that doesn't come off.

 

Up in Gilbert last spring the wife and her quad were unrecognizable from all the red clay. It washes off - just a little more stubborn. Kind of like the wife..
