I'm new to the forum and was hoping perhaps someone could provide some info. Trying to locate places to ride in Kentucky. I've checked into Danial Boone National Forest, but have also been told that most of it has been closed to ATV'S. Can anyone tell me if there is still decent riding opportunities there, or elsewhere in the state. Prefer trails for intermediate riders so that my wife and I can both ride. Any info would be appreciated.

Goto there web site at http://www.r8web.com/boone/TRAILOHV.HTM It will list all the places that you can ride in the Daniel Boone National Forest. I have been to S-Tree but that was before they closed some of it down. There is also one other place not listed on there web site, it's exit 909. Take I-75 south and get off at exit 909. in back of the gas station there's places to ride also. On the western side of Kentucky there's a place called Turkey bay. It's located in the Land Between the Lakes req, area.

Livingston, or "909" is a great place to ride. Some 10,000+ acres of nothing but trail riding. Id'e give it 3 thumbs up, if I had three thumbs.

THANKS FOR THE INFO, 909 SOUNDS GOOD, ONE QUESTION. IF IT IS PRIVATE PROPERTY IS THERE ANY CONCERN ABOUT TRESPASSING. I DON'T WON'T TO DRIVE 2.5 HOURS TO a.) GET IN TROUBLE and/or b.) DO DAMAGE TO SOMEONE ELSE'S PROPERTY. THIS IS AN ISSUE I AM DEALING WITH HERE ON SOME OF MY FAMILY'S PROPERTY, EVERYBODY SEEMS TO THINK THAT IT'S OPEN TO ANYONE. I DON'T WANT TO BE DOING THE SAME THING TO SOMEONE ELSE. THANKS AGAIN.

It's KY state property. Trust me, you won't be the only one there on any given weekend. There will be a couple hundred people on quads, bikes and rails. It's a great ride, sandy ground that dries quickly. Ask around, lots of people know about it. There's even a gas station right there that lets you park in their lot.
BTW, it's nive to hear about someone who respects private property.

Hey xplr I live real close to you in Greenville, IN northeast Floyd county. We go to 909 a lot and Lynnville,IN. I'm not sure who owns 909 I wouldn't thnk it is state owned but it could be. It is always being logged. Last time we were down there about 5 guys passed us on dirt bikes and we started following them. They rode past some no trespassing signs and a few minutes later we hear some yelling and gun shots from sacross the big creek. This is the only property problem we've had so watch the signs. But it is a great place to go. I'm pretty sure we are going April 30th. Three of the guys I ride with ride utiltiys and we go slow if you would like to meet up or something. 400EXman@yoyomail.com
also search for Livingston, KY (AKA 909) and Lynnville, IN i have posted quite a few things.
