Who's going to be at the Oegon Dunes during Spring break March 22-29. If so what spot, Winchester Bay, Coos Bay, or Florence.

 

Florence has more area to ride. Winchester bay has way bigger dunes. We had more fun at Winchester by far.
From what I saw South Jetty was a lot more crowded than Winchester two. It was the our first time down
there so we kindof skipped around. Just depends on what type of terrain you like better?

 

going from27-30 will start at florence and hit winchester at some point, may even go to horsefalls but will defineately be at florence 2 of the days lots of new mods to see how they work.

 

If the weather looks decent I may head down there on Sunday for the day. I'd probably go to Winchester on Sunday. If you are gonna be there for a week, start with Spinreel or Horsefall for a few days, and then go north 20 miles to Winchester (save the best for last), or start in Florence and head to Winchester. I think for general dune riding, that Spinreel to Horsefall offers a really good mix of things (plus you can ride on the beach). If you want to go for big/steep dunes....go to Winchester, but watch out for razorbacks. Winchester gets more wind than Florence or Coos Bay, so conditions change alot more frequently.

I will be riding the Florence area on the 22nd for sure, my Raptor is finally broken in and ready for some serious riding. Hopefully I'll even have my new MBRP slip on installed (UPS willing). Can't wait!

 

You can get your UPS tracking number from the guys you bought your pipe from, then you can go to the UPS website, and see exactly where it is in the country. I usually do that for the "Urgent" shipments such as ATV accessories. If it looks like it will make it, you should do your jetting ahead of time. Then, all you gotta do is throw that pipe on there (put new gaskets on....copper at the where your headers bolt up to your motor, and the regular exhaust gasket where the muffler connects to the headers....don't want any exhaust leaks with a shiny new pipe like that!!!)

I wish i was going then but i have to wait another month till my turn. Anyone going to be there april 12-20 ? My family and friends are going south to hit them all. stayin at discovery point.
