had to call a tow truck
#1
had been riding all day, trying to get stuck but never could manage anything really bad. then we were headed back for the trucks and pulled up to a small creek we decided not to cross. i put it in reverse and touched the throttle and sunk where i stood. we had three winches, a total of over 7500 pound of pulling power and it wouldn't budge. most randomly stuck incident i've ever experienced

Now thats a seriously stuck quad! Good thing it happened toward the end of your day of riding...could have ruined a good days riding if it had happened early. Nice pics!

What did that set you back for a tow truck?
i've encountered mud like that, and that mud is like trying to ride through wet concrete. Seeing how that is in a lake of some kind, there must be at least 3' plus of mud in alot of areas that is quick sinking.
