450 wolverine motor in Rhino
In the middle of putting a 2006 wolverine motor in a 2008 Rhino and have ran into a few snags.
Middle drive shaft is a different length and spline size. I have the shaft out of my blown motor. Do I have to split the crank case to swap it out? Any ideas what size spanner socket it takes to remove the keeper nut behind the seal?
The shaft that the clutch fan operates off of isn't long enough to mount the fan on. Do I necessarily need that fan?
Will the CDI box from the Rhino work with the wolverine engine?
Cool site hope I can contribute.
Thanks in advance for any help you can extend to me.

Cant help with project but I can tell you the 421cc was offered in the rhino in the past.http://www.powersportsnetwork.com/en...icleCode=21746
I would imagine the output shaft of the sxs and atv are different and the motor would have to be tore down to make up for the connection difference.
