Purchased the PEP Steering Damper for my Raptor, while its in the shop, I had them install it. Just got a call from the Yamaha Dealer, and he said no way that thing is going on there. Does this make sense? They said they got it part way on but it does not allow, turning, cause it hits the Trans Motor and the Radiator, along with some lines he said.


Does anyone have this installed on there Raptor, and if so you have a picture?

I posted a question like this at BansheeHQ.com and some guys over there said they had to put some washers on the lower radiator mounts to let the Damper clear. I haven't gotten mine in the mail yet or I'd help ya. I say bring it home and see what the deal is. I bet it will go on.

 

I wish everyone would RESEARCH before buying the PEP stabilizer for the Raptor. I have plead my case many times on this forum.....it's JUNK.
