There is an add posted in the classifieds for this site for an 02 sportsman 700. It is in the country of Spain. I talked to the guy, but he won't answer 1/2 the questions I ask. He wants $3000 for the machine and that is shipping already included. My buddy wants to buy this and when I metioned to do a COD delivery...he said no...the best he would do is 1/2 now, 1/2 later, and he wanted to be paid through western union cause he wanted the money now...is this fishy too do you think? And come on...3K for an almost new sportsman???

I have bought a ton of stuff for my "Hot Rods" through ebay. Always with sucess.
However ......... It is always "buyer beware". Ebay does not guaritee anything
about the transaction. Each deal is no better than the two parties involved.
I would be VERY nervious about dealing with someone in another country. How in
the world would I catch up to him.... or put legal pressure on him in another
country ????
As Pappy used to say .... "If a deal looks too good to be true.... it most likey ain't true."

Always look at the sellers history and the comments posted.
In the one that you just showed, the guy hasnt even been on ebay for 30 days. He has NO seller history. That alone is reason NOT to buy anything from him or anyone with the same.
If you want to sell on EBAY, start small and get a good refference established for yourself.
I wouldnt buy from anyone, ANYONE that doesnt have a sell history and wasnt in the US.
Enough of our money is overseas the way it is.
