Default Banshee, good or bad for pits

So can anyone tell me how it will do in the pits.?.?.? If I can find a cheap one -2000 should I go ahead and get it.?.?.? Can a banshee hold a wheely very easily.?.?.? Anything I should look for if I find one.?.?.?

Thanks for any replies,

And I dont mind any maintenance because I am training in to be a atv mechanic. Dumb question but what involves redoing a top and/or bottom end?

I am not sure what you mean by pits? But the banshee is a great machine. It can be made to do about anything you want, they have been around forever in atv terms.

A top end would be rings and pistons, sometimes you can get away with just rings depends on wear.

A bottom end would be truing the crank, or new crank and bearings, rods, seals, the bottom end would be the big one, and most likely you would not have to do it for a long time. Unless the machine has been beat down.

I have two banshees and they are a real blast to ride.

Definately, Wheelies are a blast on the Banshee and yes gravel pits would be fun to ride on the Shee.

Thanks Batoutahell and Bajaboy650, I love the looks, and I heard they sound awsome. I dont want to put any mods on because I know they have ALOT of power, and ill just be riding with some blasters. But if I can get my other neighbor to come, he has a preadator, do you think, with eventualy a few mods, Ill keep up with him?

Can anybody tell me how a "shee" does with jumping.

Later,

Mark

I suggest you ride one before you buy, the banshee is not a toy, it can be a little much for some people just give it a try before you buy.

I don't jump the banshee, it just jumps itself, ride one and you'll see. Banshee's own the pits.
