REPLACEMENT TIRES FOR WOLVY
#1
I am looking to replace the stock tires on my 2001 Wolverine. I'd like to stay with the stock sizes because I don't want to lose any performance. I mostly ride trails with occasional mud. Just looking for a better overall tire the is more puncture resistant.

The only tire in stock size 23-8-12 front, and 23-10-12 rear is the Titan 489,which now comes as the 489XT, a more aggressive tread, and 6 ply for great puncture resistance. I don't know why more manufacturers don't make the stock sizes, a lot of Wolverine owners just want a little better tire, not a big mud or tractor tire. The new Holeshot ATR's in 23 inch would be awesome !!!

I just got the titan 489xt's used a set of Gators for the winter, great tire but low end and handling fast corners suffers with the taller 25" tire, get the titans...they should of been stock tire choice..yamaha you owe us!!

what do you guys think about 22 inch tires on a wolvy. i was thinkin alltracs or mud lites. will the one inch make it noticably slower on the top, if so how much. it will probily have a little more acceleration.
