Default raptor stock exhaust with 686?

Just curious, with the Oregon dunes being regulated to 93db and only the stock raptor pipe being able to make that, would a high compression, cammed, ported 686 with the stock pipe be anywhere near as potent with the aftermarket pipe? Has anyone tried the stock pipe on their modded motor for comparison?

I ride there all the time, just don't be stupid about where you open it up at and your fine...... if you park at the face, really watch for cops there, other then that you can see them comming from a mile away and you can take off...... what i did notice them doing was they had a guy on a raptor that was a cop, he would stop you and your group of freinds (scicne you can't run him like you can a truck) then he'd radio to the truck to come to his location then they'd test ya and bust ya...... but it was mainly around the parking lots.......

mr45auto- i am using the fmf power bomb header and the q muffler on my 686 and although my raptor only has a high compression 102mm piston it performs very well and the fmf was tested at (92 DB) which is about as quiet as stock.the fmf system may not have the top end of some pipes but it builds great torque and midrange which makes it run very well under a load up a steep dune.i think more people are going to be forced to go with a similar set up in the near future to meet the sound limits because when i got my system tested this year the forest service employee that checked it said they were going to start cracking down on the louder pipes.
