Default So I finally took my Raptor WOT for a top end run

Was out riding last weekend and finally passed the break in point so it was time to see what the heck this thing could do on the top end.

I wound up drag racing my friends dirt bike (XR250 bored out to 280,piped,filtered,jetted...etc) with it.
His bike is quicker than my old 400EX.......so he thought he might be able to keep up with me.........hahahah
We went for prolly a half mile to 3/4 of a mile up a quiet side road near his house.
It was the end of this rural dead end road so its basically free of cars all together.

Anyway,I whooped his butt straight up and down....hahahah
The only time he got a hole shot on me was when I started in 2nd.
Then I had passed him by the end of 2nd gear.

I am SERIOUSLY impressed at how the 660 covers ground.
(Yes,I know its stock and not too impressive to many people but this thing is a H*LL of a lot quicker than my 400EX!)
I can't wait to get tired of it and make it quicker....hahaha.

It got to the point where i was giving my friend a 3-5 second head start just so I could go whizzing by him in 4th gear.
He looked at me and said "how much more does that thing have in it?!?!?!"

In fact,and this is funny.......
He decided to pick on smaller prey so he challenged my g/f to a race with him on the bike and her on her 400EX(my old one).
I flagged em down at the start, then hopped on my quad, started it.....and took off........and BEAT HIM to the finish!
HAHAHAH
The look on his face was priceless!

Yup,my 400EX had a bone stock motor and it only had much taller Maxxis rear tires which hurt it's starting acceleration a lot.

I no when I raced a stock DS with my EX he could only get three lengths on me then he wouldnt pull away at all. Then we ran out of room. But every single time I raced him I got beat Just wait until the 416 then............................... see what happens!!
