hey people i have a few questions

k i have a problem on my 4x4 diff. between the half shaft and the diff their is gear oil spitting out when i ride it what is wrong with my quad ive been told its a seal or a gasket
which do u think it is
on a estimation how much do u think this would cost to fix?

 

Sounds like a bad seal. Not sure what it will cost.

 

Surely sounds like a seal, biggest challenge is getting to the diff and pulling shaft, off the top of my head it's been a while but i think $20 and an hour or so you shouldn't have any problem popping old seal out and replacing with a new one.
