I forgot to add a steering stabilizer in there for about $125 ish. The FIRST mod needed on the Raptor. And of course if he does the 686 figure in the cost of another clutch with heavier springs or it's gonna slip and a spare starter one way cause the hi comp 686 is gonna help kill an old one.

 

My friend has a 01 raptor he was wondering what would be the best mod to do first

 

Steering stabilizer, offset wheels and good tires, a-arms and shocks, wider axle, Pro Design bracket and air filter, exhaust - all good "first" mods.

 

If ya'll are going with the 686 kits I would give Craycraft a call, can't go wrong with them. I'm not saying that there is't others that have good kits, but if I had $1,500 to spend it would be with Craycraft.
