i used to live in somerset wi. that is just over the st croix river from stillwater and the twin cities.

 

I'm still here !!!!!! but if they keep shutting us out of trails, I won't be riding here !!! In case some don't know, we lost 2/3 of Spider Lake trails, they took over 40 miles of trail from us, left us with only 25, and closed all parking areas except for the one they made 2 miles down the trail. Now that's not Minnesota Nice !!!!

 

I'm here, near Duluth.

 

I will be moving back to Minnesota in just over a month! (I am getting out of the military) Is it true that there isn't anywhere to ride near the cities, or south of the cities? I am from central MN, just west of Minneapolis. Will I need to take long weekend trips up to the Iron Range just for my wife and I to go riding?

 

Cool, Hey 95wolv, wheres Darwin MN? if anyone is in so.MN Im starting an atv club with some of the local kids, I think it'll be really fun.

Hammer, Darwin is on Hwy 12 about an hour west of the Twin Cities, and yup, we got the largest twine ball (made by one man, gotta be precise !!!) I belong to Crow River Wheelers club, we have a 40 acre woods we bought to ride in, but it is a little hard to get to, you have to cross a corn field, and there is no parking lot yet, you have to pull off on the shoulder (no ditch riding in this area !!!) I have to admit, central MN does not have a lot of riding, usually about 3 hrs to decent north riding, and I usually take my son to Wisconsin for a week of camping and riding, haven't found a place in MN I would care to stay long enough to break out the tent,unless you guys know of good camping and riding areas.
