Yeah if I made enough money I'd like to have something like that. I bought that mag just to look at that machine. Do they have like any shows like car shows for really decked out atvs? If they do then this guy has to win whatever category he gets in, sweet.

Aparently, RIDLEY, you don't know what the f*ck you're talking about! That quad has everything a race quad should have. It has a Trinity engine, aftermarket shocks, a-arms, axle, steering stem, wheels, tires, swingarm, handlebars, chain, sprockets, bearing carrier, hubs, brake lines, airbox, filter, etc, etc. That is what every full race Raptor wants to have. That is easily $20-25 grand right there. Plus the $20-25 grand he said he spent on chrome and gold and polishing. That equals about $50 grand. If you want to sell me your quad for $12 grand, ill buy it. I bet you have more than $12 grand into your Raptor.
I have spent over $12 grand on my Raptor and I still have to buy an axle, hubs, swingarm, a-arms and a lot of engine work. That is another $5-7 grand for me to spend in the next year. If I had the means or the contacts to have my then $18 grand Raptor to look as good as Quinn's then by all means I would do it. But I don't. So I have to be happy with a pretty good running Raptor that is not a looker. Maybe you, RIDLEY, should be happy with what you are fortunate enough to have in this life instead of putting down someone elses hard work. Shame on you.
And, RIDLEY, as far as your other gibberish goes -
1) full titanium - there's another $10 grand, because no one has a production frame like that yet. As a matter of fact I think Quinn said in the article how he was trying to get a company (LRD or Laeger) to make a frame for him in the future
2) 250 R geometry - this is a Raptor, not a 250R. If he wanted a 250R he would have bought one
3) experimental IRS - yeh right, there's another $10 grand
4) 770 kit - that's off the shelf (Powroll), I thought you didn't want off the shelf?
5) street legal - not off the shelf, but that's been done before, too (actually there is a comp[any selling a kit to make your quad street legal, so I guess that is normal too, right?)
6) something the AVERAGE JOE can't buy - I would say a $25,000 quad and $25,000 worth of gold and chrome plating is something the AVERAGE JOE can't buy.
7) 2 great quads (yz450s) - he only has 1 body. Why would he want 2 "normal" looking quads. He is not a MX pro, he is not a GNCC pro.
8) not much of a rider - I thought that he won several flat track trophys? I consider that more than just an average rider. Plus, his calling in life is not to be the next Ballance, Gust, or Jones. His quad serves a Higher purpose.
I know you will retaliate and bite into me, but I will just laugh, because I know you just don't understand. Someone has to be the "below average joe", right? I know you can't help it.
