Which is better for trail riding? I'm 220 lbs And where I ride there is quite a bit of mud. I like going fast through the trails but would like a 4x4 PLEASE HELP me figure outwhich to buy.

just my two cents- if you want the faster quad, get the Warrior, mine does great on trails and mud, but if you plan on getting in the real deep stuff, get the Wolverine. As you probably already know, they both have the same motor, but the wolverine has the added weight of 4x4 and a few other things, so it is a bit slower. My Warrior has been through some pretty deep stuff,(like up to my a$$!), and never been stuck, but you got to fly through it. I don't want to knock the Wolverine, cuz its a great quad and I would love to have one, but thats what I think. One advantage the Wolverine has over the Warrior, other than 4x4, is an oil cooler. I wish Warriors had those.

Get the Warrior. I also have been submarineing (spelling??) on mine and got stuck once. I was up to the lights in water and ran strong. I was crossing a flooded creek and got stuck in a rut. Made it thru with the hlep of a rope,a Blaster, a TB250, and a 215lb VERY strong 15 year old.HaHa.. lucky me. Its a great quad for basically anything u wanna do..

My buddy has a wolverine and they are great quads but for a 4WD, they suck in the mud the limited slip doesnt work well and its always in 4WD unless you buy an unlocker. It is a fast quad it beats the blasters and you can hit some small jumps. But when you are riding hard down the trails it is a very rough ride. Go for the warrior and you will be pleased

I would vote fo the wolverine. They are just a bullet proof as the warrior. We have both in the shop now. My 87 warrior Will go through mud but, my hang up is bottoming in the big mud holes. That rear suspention likes to gather a lot of mud. I will never sell my warrior but i am wanting a wolvy of my own, so i am getting rid of my super small blaster and boring dirtbike. For an all arounf bike i would pick the wolvy, hands down.

Diablo, i am looking at getting around1,500 for it. For an extra 500 you can get a set of once used Holeshot tires on ITP 90 rims. That does seem high and i can probably be talked down. Let me know if you want picuters and a detailed description. e-mail me at, bretts_yamaha@hotmail.com Contact me quicly please as i am ready to get rid of it so i can get a wolvy.
