Just take your time they look sweet. The one at FSWs looked like it came from the factory with the R1 in it. It was just hard for him to hide the 4 drag pipes.

There was two one that looked like a new raptor with a big motor and the other was a LT500 frame and plastic. I only saw the LT run up the hill and it was fast. The raptor just took off I didn't see him run up the hill

Not to say you can't race in FSW but I thought it had to be OEM frame and motor? Anyone know for sure?

I don't care if I can't race in FSW's I am pretty sure that I can race against people that are in FSW's and it will not count if I do win!! Who cares though... It will be one of the fastest out there and that is all I want along with doing something that I love and that is doing $hit that nobody can think of or do!!

depends on how good of a job you do. An R1's a tall motor, do you plan on cutting the bottom of the frame away and losing ground clerance or cutting the top away? guess if its just a race quad a low-slung motor wouldn't be too bad. If you cut the top away, there won't be much room for any kind of gas tank, you'll have to think up something there. My bud making the 650 twin quad make a fiberglass tank that fits in front of the engine, with a recess that the steering shaft fits in. Something to think about. You can put you gastank anywhere now, you'll have a fuel pump, no more gravity-feed.
