The quad is ready, Bob and i freshened it up last saturday and installed the new web 685 cam. We drilled the main jets to 7/64 and were happy with the results. I got up this morning with the intention to go by Bob's pick up zombies check and head up there to the Jamboree. I was going to hand him the check back and run 3 races as stated. I had sent zombie a couple of pm's asking about the track, tires and gearing with no response. So i was heading up with a few sprockets and taller haulers. While i was waiting on junior to get out of school at 11:15 today i decided that it was not worth the 3 days to go run a few people that a) i do not like, b) there trash talking crossed the line and c) i was not willing to keep the check/money order/cashiers check and i was not willing to spend my own money to go. After rereading some of the comments i decided that my wife, kid and I would not go. The sun will come up tommorow and it is just another day. I had looked foreward to running the robertson 727 but not the rider. They did not post a fair responce to the races last year so there was no reason to think this year would be different. I went last year to run Jay and won 3 for 3 like he was piped and jetted, Dsmike and Dollarbillz put all the others down. They would not meet with us the night before or the morning of the race. So i guess we will never know who is faster, 14 or zombie. I doubt we will bump into each other anytime soon because i have never heard of that crew riding anywhere but there back yard.

Think what you want i do not care. I believe i would have won 2 and lost 1 against the robertson 727. All the fun was removed from this race weeks ago and i ride for fun.

I dont think you should talk the smack if you are not ready to prove it - especially "wussying" out at the last minute. Why did it suddenly become a problem and not before? I mean the race was on, and now its not - why did you agree to it in the first place if you had such a problem with it...just my 2 cents worth....

 

tundraotto...if you had read the pm's and such that followed shortly after the challenge was agreed upon..it would make more sense. It turned from a race into people talking about figting other people over what? A race? A quad? Who cares! This sport is supposed to be fun...I go out and ride because I have fun..as Im sure everyone else here does. But there are those few that will always be there to ruin it..

Oh well.

But I think it is the smartest thing I have seen you say in awhile. Riding is about fun and when it crosses that line it is just plain stupid. Most of us are grown men and should act as such. Let it go and let the words that I am sure will follow roll off your back.

14, I know that you would have won but yeah, that was a smart thing to do, why waste your money just to go up there and race 3 times? I got your back no matter what anyone says, and if people are going to fight over who is faster than who then there is no point in racing cuz you never know if someone is psycho enough that if they lost they would do something really stupid (either put someone in the hospital or in your case zombie would be in the hospital) heh heh heh... let everyone know when it comes down to the time of FSW!! And if anyone has a problem with this little glitch of 14 mins not going up there, take it up with ur mom!!

Come on now. Zombie why dont you just bring your bike to the Atpt Nationals and settle it. As I understand it is anyone welcome. Its not that hard and your going to have 500.00 in your pocket to cover all your expenses. I dont have a fast bike, but I will race anyone at anytime. Theres always a faster bike out there. As for the name calling what are we, 5 year olds.
