What does it take to be a good drag racers? Are their any series that are just on the west coast. Is their any money to be made in them? What are most people racing and what would be the best to race? 2 or 4 Stroke? How are the Banshee, Raptor and DS?

Who has the fastest Rappy and DS? Please so start bashing each other just curious for whom to talk to. What times are the totally tricked out custom Banshees, Raptor and DS running in the 300?

for drag racing i say 2 stroke and i would go w/a banshee thats what my 99 banshee is...but the fastest outta ds and rappy umm...i would have to say ds in the flat drags and this ds is on stock bore and it is killing all the big bore rappys...(dsmike) is the one w/the stock bore ds that is smoking the big bores

Some of the buest builders would be Trinity, CT, and a few other companys that slip my mind at the time. The most hp i have seen is 135hp that came out of the "Legend" 500+cc alchy burning Banshee that Trintity helped make. It absolutely ripped.

You have got to have deep pockets to be a good dragger. Talk to DaBeechman, he has the sweetest draggers around here. You should see his 250r's. They are top notch. I dont really know if lots of money can be made. I really wanted to get into it, but I realized I had nearly not enough money. The best to drag is MOST DEFINATELY a 2 stroke, and probably a banshee. You can pretty much make a banshee go as fast as you want. Theres big bore+stroker kits that can make it almost a 600cc death machine. If you are serious, give trinity a call and talk to harry directly. Tell him what you need and he will give u a price. You can also try looking for Rotax heads if you really wanted to get crazy. But to start, get a shee and a good helmet. and I am sure things will take off from there. Oh and if u want a little tease of Trinity's "Blue Legend" download the sweer preview at my website. Its linked

The legend aint nothin' but a fairytell. He's a bully and he got his butt reamed at sand mountain. Heck he was only beating some of the honda's by 2 bikes at the most. he dont want none of the sparks/packard honda's. The quadzilla isnt going to get you anywhere in the 100. There are some fast ones, but its a lot harder to find a guy who knows how to make a suzuki run like the banshee and honda.
If you want a sick machine, go with a honda. Their trannys are top notch, much easier to shift if your not using an override and the competition is a lot better because you only have so many cylinders being made (compared to the 4,7,10,12,14 mil banshee's with various t-rex, cheetah, billet twins, billet triples, ect). If your on a tight budget try to stick to a single cylinder.
Fastest banshee around is a 3.7 packard 580 pro-x monoblock, and packard also has the fastest honda at 3.8 or 3.9. His new bike should decimate both of those times and run in the 3.5's w/o nitrous
Running a 4-stroke would be fun though since the technology and the competitve edge is just starting to rise.

one reason i like 4strokes is because i used to drag race an old 71 chevy pick up with a 408 bbc i spent gobs of money in the motor and tranny rolled it 8 months later. anyway they are kinda the same both have same princibles if you can hot rod a v8 you can hotrod a fourstroke atv
