I have a full yosh exhaust with k&n filter with holes in my airbox for a 2002 raptor. I followed dynojet reccomendation and it runs like crap. i ride around 5000 to 7000 feet. It idles great for runs real rough between 1/4 and 3/4 throttle. I put the clips in the forth postition and by reading some of the posts im thinking maybe i need to change it to the third. Please and info will help!

 

Ya, I need help too, I put on a slip-on and K&N and followed the Dynojet recommendations exactly. Same thing it runs like crap at 1/4 throttle. I tried putting the clips on the third notch- didn't help. It seems really rich, I think next I need to lean out the mixture screws and see if it helps. I'll keep going from there.

 

cc it sounds like you might want to try the second groove on the needles but I would probably just move them one groove at a time.

 

When I first purchased my Raptor it had a full FMF exhaust, and a aftermarket air filter, now remember I am at sea level. It had the stock jetting and dyno jet needles on the third clip down from the top and it ran pretty good.

 

i droped the needle today to the third slot and it made a big difference. i might try the second slot tommorrow and see what it does because there is still some roughness around 1/2 throttle.

 

or get a GYT-r jet kit!
