I just ordered the Works Pro Series Shocks for my raptor, I have yet to buy extended a-arms, what would be the best for jumping and desert racing, along with hill climbing!!

Hey NuG....I race the Alba Pro-comp set-up on my Rappy. I race desert here in So. Cal. and haven't had any problems with the A-arms yet!! It soaks up the ruff-stuff really well and takes quite a beating. My friends call it "the Cadillac" because it flies through the rough sh*t and doesn't tire them out. JMO!!!

I have the Laeger's +2 on my Banshee and I like them. And the Lonestar A-Arms are good to.
My Cousin has the Lonestar on his 89 Honda 250R and he also has them his 03 Raptor. And they are real nice to.

He probably ordered the shocks for wider arms. (i hope he did)
But for brands there is endless possibilities. The alba Pro Comps are made by Leager so they are high quality.
There is Houser (decent for the price), Walsh (they are very very proud of their product "very over priced"), Ricky Stator (very good product and very good price, they use top of the line ball joints), Sparks Racing sell Avenger Arms (over priced and havent heard much about them).
Those are just some. Look at the Ricky Stator ones though. Very decent.

Last time I checked Alba contracted the Procomp A-arms out to a local company but they use Leager ball joints. I have the pro series shocks on my Banshee and they are great. Don't listen to people that spent way more money for shocks that aren't as adjustable and frankly they can't tell the difference between them in the first place. Oh well let the flaming begin. I'll check up on the Alba A-arm thing tomorrow on my way home.
