I just put together a mild 686 for raptor03 and went to craycraft. The turn around was fast and the service was great. Their all out 686 is a good deal too if you want to step it up even more.

I pieced together a 686 with some parts from craycraft, and a used ported head. I've got about $1200 invested including a GYT-R clutch and Sparks X6 pipe and it rips, it'll eat most Banshee's without any problems at all. Of course a built Shee is another critter altogether. You can do a great setup with just a 102mm piston and a hotcams stage 1 without breaking the bank. I figure it'll run you about $350-400 or so with machine work and your pipe. It'll be danged impressive and you can do the port work later.
