you know what fellas, I see this as a very simple question. One, Yamaha will outperform, outlast and beat the living crap out of a Polaris, any day of the week. Two, if sport is what you are after, you have alot of that in a Wolverine; excellent speed, power, jumping and suspension. And the biggest of them all is the capability of four wheel drive. Some people who have never had the luxury of a 4x4 will tell you that it is not sporty enough and that you do not need for wheel drive. Well, let me tell you from experience; I had an 87 yamaha 200 with 2 wheel drive and I thought it was the best. Then, I purchased a 93 Bayou 4x4 and let me tell you, the ability of 4x4 is well worth the money and I sold my 2x4 just as soon as I could get the puppy in the paper. Now, for all those people that say 4x4's lack power and speed: my grizzly is the most capable quad I have ever seen. And at 68 mph, it will smoke the pants off nearly all quads, even most sport quads. Without a doubt, get the proven reputation of a Yamaha 4x4.

I have to agree with L-A-Z-Y I do not like Polaris, and especially the trail boss. My wife had one and it was heay and under powered. The only thing it would be good for is really easy rides or someone that is a begining rider. If you have some expreience under your belt and are ready to take a step up in quads then yes you will like the Wolv... Then someday you can graduate to the Mack Daddy R-A-P-T-O-R!
